NJ Medical Marijuana Program Card Drive for Anxiety or PTSD – NOW A TELE-HEALTH DRIVE
Use medical marijuana legally. Heal yourself with Naturopathic medications instead of psychotropic alternatives. Stop self-medicating and start healing.
As of March 2020, Marijuana in the State of NJ is nearing towards decriminalization and the opening of nearly 2 dozen additional medical marijuana dispensaries. To access any of these medical marijuana dispensaries and to use marijuana legally, you must maintain an active Medical Marijuana Program Card.
Over 20%, 1 out of every 5 Americans cope with Anxiety. Over 70% of us have experienced some type of trauma that impacts us, whether consciously or unconsciously.
Alternative medication such as medical marijuana is an effective & legal remedy for anyone who struggles with PTSD or anxiety, and is much less detrimental to our overall wellbeing as compared to traditional opiate or psychotropic medications.
During The Cannabis Health Program at COIT’s previous medical marijuana card drives, hundreds of individuals were helped with referrals, education and insight into healing their mental health symptoms with medical marijuana. These individuals successfully transitioned into the New Jersey Medical Marijuana Program (NJMMP), supporting the overall interest of NJ’s Mental Health community in finding resolve for their symptoms through alternative treatment methods. The Cannabis Health Program at COIT practices under the Jake Honig Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act of NJ and focuses on the safe and healthy use of alternative cannabis medications as a way of healing our minds, void of the detrimental side effects reported by the use of traditional psychotropic pharmaceutical medications for healing mental health symptoms.
On Saturday, March 28, 2020 and Sunday, March 29, 2020, The Cannabis Health Program at COIT will be facilitating their Fourth Medical Marijuana Program Card Drive via Tele-Health to support NJ State residents who may be coping with the eligible NJ Medical Marijuana Program diagnoses: PTSD, Anxiety and other related conditions. COIT assists their clients in gaining access to medical marijuana as an alternative treatment medication by intervening with healthy cannabis use education and by providing referrals to obtain their NJ Medical Marijuana Program Card to stabilize their symptoms.
This drive is open to anyone who has been struggling with PTSD, Anxiety or a related condition and is seeking an alternative way of coping through medical marijuana. No previous treatment records are required for the assessment, as we will conducting a comprehensive mental health and substance use evaluation during your visit and rendering your diagnosis.
